Who is DougDoug? Ludwig and team set new record for streamer's 10-Drive-Thru fast food challenge, Internet says 'they cheated'

LOS ANGELES, CA: DougDoug, an American Twitch broadcaster and YouTuber, is now dominating the Twitch community with a somewhat unusual food challenge. It has already attracted the participation of various A-list streamers. Known as Drive-Thru challenge, streamers are being challenged to repeatedly visit 10–11 drive-through eateries or takeout places with the intention of ingesting as many calories as they can.

On his Twitter account, Doug has meticulously updated the challenge's regulations. There is a four-person maximum for each competing team. The teams are also limited to just visiting one drink/beverage outlet and two dessert establishments among the drive-thrus they hit on the quest.

Ludwig’s record

Will Neff's Paw Patrol (QTCinderella, HasanAbi, and Nandre) successfully completed the challenging Drive-Thru task in a recent three hours and 36 minute-long Twitch live. Despite the strict time restrictions and the small participant pool (four people), the amazing team managed to devour an unbelievable 14,118.7 calories altogether.

Each group had to request the exact same order as the customers in front of them, which was another unusual requirement that the group had to abide by. The drive-thru task progressively grew more difficult as soon as one group was surpassed by another. This new record-breaking squad was made up of Ludwig and Aiden, Falco, and Slime from the Yard, Ludwig's YouTube podcast.

Together, they completed the challenge by ingesting an astounding 17,385 calories, which was an amazing achievement. They also went to 11 restaurants, one more than the previous squad.

'They cheated'

Fans saw that Ludwig's crew didn't order the same food as the people in front of them at In-N-Out, which raised questions about the legitimacy of Ludwig's victory in the drive-thru challenge. On the r/LivestreamFail subreddit, a discussion over fairness was sparked by fan demands for disqualification.

A user said, “They cheated and did sus things all the time. In-n-Out, the bathroom break. Will and team still has the record,” whereas another user said, “Didn't they cheat though?” Another user went on to say, “They cheated at In-and-Out, therefore they hold no record” whereas another one said, “Excited for the "How I cheated and won the DougDoug challenge" youtube video from Ludwig in a couple days.”
