MUMBAI, INDIA: Altaf Shaikh, widely known as MC Stan, is one of India's most well-known underground rappers. The rapper from Mumbai explained that his stage name Stan is a blend of Shaitaan (Satan) and Insaan (Human).
IShowSpeed is currently in India to support his favorite Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli. During his visit, he also met other famous personalities, including MC Stan.
IShowSpeed and MC Stan make music together
During his livestream, IShowSpeed collaborated with the "most hated Indian rapper," MC Stan, to perform the unreleased music. The two planned to make a music together but the duo's initial offering was not well received.
In the video, MC Stan is singing a rap in 'Hindi' and Speed is reacting with his facial reactions and trying to meet the beat. IShowspeed, known for his upbeat performances and memorable hooks, added a unique flavor to the song.
Speed's update page on X posted the clip remarking, "Speed making music with the most hated Indian rapper."
The video soon went viral but the rapper and the streamer received criticism. Trolls hated the rap song that Stan sang during Speed's livestream.
One wrote, "Ear bleeding."
Whereas another user called it "cringe" and said, "Chapri ness and cringe ness out of the world."
The third commentator commentated, "Two jokers in one frame."
Fourth commentator remarked, "hard listen bro."
IShowSpeed even listened to MC Stan's other recordings and danced hard wearing a Virat Kohli's jersey and a Dhoti (Indian attire).
T-Series copyrighted IShowSpeed's stream from India
Speed arrived in Mumbai, India, on October 12, and was noticed riding about in a taxi. He performed a freestyle with the Indian rapper MC Stan and even participated in a game of cricket on his live feed.
However, YouTube abruptly ended the three-hour show owing to "Policy Violations."
Fans claim that this was caused by the copyrighted Bollywood music that IShowSpeed was listening to in his cab.
Both of the songs he played, including Honey Singh's 'Blue Eyes' and Akon's debut Bollywood single 'Chammak Challo,' are owned by the record label T-Series.
The primary justification for the removal is that IShowSpeed chose to play copyrighted music on his speaker rather than his car radio for the duration of the broadcast.
Although it's not a lifetime suspension, Speed will need to proceed with caution as accruing more strikes in a row could make the situation worse.
