LOS ANGLES, CALIFORNIA: Former professional skateboarder and television personality, Bam Margera, has threatened to "smoke crack" until he dies if he is not permitted to see his son amid an ongoing divorce row with his estranged wife Nicole Boyd. The 43-year-old former 'Jackass' star claims that Boyd has cut off every tie with his son, Phoenix, over the past couple of months.

Margera lashed out at his family and his wife in a rant posted on social media where he alleged that they are driving him to be a 'dipsomaniac'. He then threatened to go down the boardwalk to smoke crack destitute until he breathes his last or until he is allowed to see his son. According to Margera's lawyer Peter W Thompson, the stunt performer has not seen Phoenix since March 29 during an in-person visit to California and also has now been allowed to communicate with Phoenix via phone or FaceTime.

Boyd's lawyer issues a statement on Margera's video

Boyd's lawyer urged Margera to maintain his sobriety. "Unfortunately, that’s not how the addictions work. People’s behavior does not drive others to drink. This is a typical defense mechanism, and it shows that Bam may not have learned much in his past addiction treatment," lawyer David Glass told TMZ. "You have to take responsibility for your own actions. Nikki sincerely hopes that Bam can first achieve and then maintain sobriety, for his own good, and for the good of their son."

Who is Nicole Boyd?

Nicole Boyd, also known as Nikki Margera is a popular actor, model, photographer, graphic designer, and social media influencer. Just like Bam, Nicole also did the MTV reality show 'Jackass'. She made her debut in the TV series Togetherness in 2015 and also appeared on Haggard, Viva La Bam, and Bam’s Unholy Union. Bam and Nicole tied the knot in 2013 in Reykjavik, Iceland, and had their son, Phoenix Wolf, in December 2017.

'Get to work Nicki, I want Phoenix'

Boyd vowed to smoke crack until he was granted visitation rights. "This is an official message to anybody that cares about me whatsoever," Margera said. "I haven't seen Phoenix in two f****** months and I am so f****** fed up. I cry every day, I miss him so much and I know I have to wake up every day knowing that I probably won't get to talk to him or see him. So yes Nicki drives me to f****** drink, so does my f****** mom and so does my f****** pep-talking dad who tells me nothing but I am a f****** fat loser piece of s*** drug addict. I am going to smoke crack with the bums down at the boardwalk until I am dead or unless you deliver me f****** Phoenix. So get to work Nicki or anybody that wants to help. I want Phoenix."

Nicole requested full custody of their son

The duo split up in 2021 and Nicole later went to court that year in September to request full custody of their son. She filed for divorce this February citing irreconcilable differences and requested the court award her $15,000 a month child support, as well as legal and physical custody of their child.

Boyd said in the documents that Margera can only see his son as long as he is supervised and completes the rehab for drug and alcohol issues. Margera called out his wife claiming his ex is not allowing him to see their young son Phoenix even after she claimed in her own filing that his seldom visits are due to his own poor behavior.

It was reported by the outlet that Boyd and Margera had unsuccessfully tried to set up a routine where he would speak to his son via FaceTime but unfortunately, it never happened. Margera's close ones find it "completely unreasonable" that Boyd decided not to receive the FaceTime or phone calls he has made for it poses no danger or threat to their child. The next scheduled hearing in Margera's divorce case is set for July 11.
