STANFORD, CALIFORNIA: Phoebe Gates, the daughter of billionaire Bill Gates, is reportedly dating Arthur Donald, the oldest grandson of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney, per Daily Mail.
Dating rumors began when Gates, 21, posted a photo on Instagram of her with Donald, 24, taken on a balcony in Paris. The photo has garnered over 14K likes so far. The McCartney and Gates families share close ties.
Who is Arthur Donald?
Donald is the eldest son of Paul McCartney's second-born child, British photographer Mary, and her first husband, director-producer Alistair Donald. He graduated from Yale University in 2021, having studied history there.
He worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Currently, he is an investor at the New York-based firm Collaborative Fund, focusing on companies providing climate solutions across materials, food, agriculture, and decarbonization.
Donald is inactive on social media and has no public Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter accounts. He keeps his life relatively private, only having a LinkedIn account that gives a glimpse into his professional life.
