So, it doesn’t come as a shock that AMC has planned to expand the universe with a spin-off series based on two of the most popular characters: Maggie and Negan.
Titled ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’, the series chronicles the journey of Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and how they navigate through New York City, which has become a haven for zombies and anarchists.

Lauren Cohan as Maggie

Cohan began her acting career in 2005 with a short film and went on to make her feature film debut in the same year with the movie ‘Casanova’. However, her life turned upside down when she was cast as Maggie Rhee in ‘The Walking Dead’. She was one of the main cast members of the series and instantly became a fan favorite. Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan

The actor first appeared on the show in Season 7 and it didn’t take much time for his character to become one of the most-hated characters on TV. Morgan was brilliant in making people realize how people will react if they get power in a world that is already turned pretty rotten.
Morgan started his acting career in 1991 and played supporting roles in several movies. Just like Cohan, he also received a lot of attention when he started appearing on TV shows like 'Supernatural'. But when he became a part of ‘The Walking Dead’ series, his fame skyrocketed. Several critics called his acting extraordinary and labeled him as one of the most amazing characters in the entire franchise. Therefore, It doesn’t come as a shock that makers decided to focus on Negan in the upcoming series.
