AUSTELL, GEORGIA: Authorities of Cobb County suspect foul play in the death of Beauty Couch, an Instagram influencer whose body was found near a burned-out vehicle in Austell, Georgia.

The 22-year-old woman was found dead on Wednesday, August 23, a day after she was reported missing, according to police.

What was Beauty Couch popular for?

The influencer who had amassed a following of 150,000 went by the name Beauty Katera on social media and she mentioned in her profile that she was a dancer.

Couch was known for her roller-skating videos and recently an advertisement for her first dance class.

In her final Instagram post, the 22-year-old shared an array of photos that showed her in a black-and-red bikini, posing beside a pool.

"He said I look good in red, might as well call me sexy redd," Couch captioned the post on Saturday, August 22.

Why do police suspect foul play in Beauty Couch's death?

On August 23, the Austell Fire Department authorities responded "to Joe Jerkins Blvd and Landers Street for a brush fire," at around 12:18 pm.

"Upon arrival, they located a vehicle fully engulfed in flames," read the statement issued by the Cobb County Police Department.

"The fire was extinguished, and the vehicle was towed to a wrecker yard," according to the statement.

Authorities stated that officers were dispatched to the registered owner of the vehicle and found that Couch was the daughter of the vehicle's owner.

According to the statement, the influencer was the one who "most commonly drove the vehicle."

"Austell Police searched the area where the vehicle was found and located a body that matched the description of Beauty Couch in the wood line," said the statement.

Based on the initial investigation into the case, foul play is suspected in the death of Couch.

Speaking to WSB-TV, Beauty's grieving mother Kimberly Couch described her daughter as a "sweet girl" who "never bothered nobody."

"She was a friend to everybody. She loved going skating. She loved going to work. She loved her clothes. She loved wearing her hair so pretty," she continued.

"They took a part of my life from me. They took a part of my heart. I want them to pay for what they did to my baby," Kimberly added.
