LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: James Duggar has recently removed all the videos from his official YouTube channel which was called "James Duggar Vlog". The son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar documented his travels and uploaded the videos on his channel. However, with the airing of the docuseries titled 'Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets', James has removed all the videos from his channel.
This sudden act made fans wonder why James took such an abrupt decision. The 21-year-old remains heavily dependent on his father. Moreover, his trips were also funded by Jim Bob. Therefore, the sudden removal of all the videos from the channel came as a shock.
Why did James Duggar remove all videos from his YouTube channel?
James has had a few videos on his YouTube channel where the 'Counting On' alum was seen showcasing his travel diaries. Moreover, James also gave us a sneak peek of his room. Many times, James landed in controversy due to his YouTube videos. Once, he dropped a video on his channel to give fans a tour of his bedroom which was decorated with an assault riffle collection. Even after the backlash, he did not remove the videos from his YouTube channel.
Up until the release of 'Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets', James' YouTube channel had numerous videos. Moreover, he is heavily dependent on his father in terms of finance. Therefore, it is not certain why James suddenly removed all the videos from his channel. Jim Bob also combats bad press by releasing videos from his children's accounts. If we remember, the Duggar parents made their children sign a lifetime contract with their production company to have control of their lives and media. Either Jim Bob himself would've deleted the videos or it could have been James who would've taken the step.
James Duggar removed controversial name 'Duggar Gone Wild' after backlash
James' YouTube channel has also made headlines previously. The 21-year-old started the YouTube account in December 2021. The channel, now called "James Duggar Vlog", was previously called "Duggar Gone Wild". As per The Sun, James dropped the controversial name after the huge backlash.
James is one of the latest Duggar children who broke away from the conservative views of the family. He has been hopping to pubs, enjoying chicken and hamburgers, and has also been spotted at bars. Jim and Michelle forbid their children from drinking alcohol. However, now that they are growing up, they are enjoying their lives as per their wishes.
