The Australian star who has worked in several other movies, playing American characters for change does her native accent. Byrne stars along with Seth Rogen, for the AppleTV+ series, which premiered this week.
'Platonic' is produced by Sony Pictures Television, and Stoller and Stoller’s Global Solutions bagged an overall deal. Byrne is collaborating for the second time with the tech giant's streaming platform after the 'Physical' series, as reported by the Daily Mail. Other popular shows to watch alongside the comedy series are 'Lucky Hank' and 'Shrinking'. Seth Rogen plays Will and Rose Byrne plays Sylvia, the two leads, where supporting actors include Luke Macfarlane as Charlie, Tre Hale as Andy, Carla Gallo as Katie, and Andrew Lopez as Reggie.
