LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ABC News anchor Sam Champion has ditched from his duties at the studio desk for a quick getaway. The ‘GMA’ meteorologist recently announced in one of his videos that he will be telling a break from his work and will be sailing off to a different place. And now, the whereabouts of the 61-year-old anchor have finally been located.
Sam is vacationing in Italy with his husband Rubem Robierb. The Peabody-winning journalist has chosen Capri, Italy to cool off and enjoy a well-deserved vacation with his husband of 11 years, Rubem. It’s unclear when Sam will return to the studio but the ‘GMA’ star has blessed the feed of his followers by posting some picturesque and envious photos from his vacation.
Sam’s Trip to Italy
Sam Champion has been off from work for almost a week and since he departed from the studio, the ‘GMA’ star has not failed to give his fans and followers a peek into his vacation in Italy. Sam initially posted a selfie with Rubem, marking the beginning of a great vacation. Sam didn’t stop here. Later, he posted a selfie with a group of friends, enjoying an exquisite lunch onboard what looked like a yacht with small lush islands in the background complimenting the imagery.
The 61-year-old later posted a series of snaps captioning the post, “Foredeck Night Views #capri #faraglioni #christinao (with an emoji of Italian Flag and a heart emoji). In these photos, Sam is seen with a bunch of friends, enjoying champagne while giving the fans a glimpse of the night view from the yacht’s deck. Fans were stunned by the beauty of these pictures but it wasn’t until Sam posted a photo of him and Rubem in white, that fans came into their being and complimented the lovely couple.
‘Is it a dream sequence’
Only recently, Sam posted a photo from their vacation of just him and Rubem, wearing all white, from top to bottom, totally sizzling in that attire. Fans took note of this dream picture with the first one stating, “Is it a dream sequence” and a second said, “You should be playing “ I’m too sexy for my shirt.” A third mentioned, “All the summer vibes!!” while a fourth chimed, “You look fabulous all in white.” Sam’s return to the studio is awaited by the viewers but the ABC correspondent seems to be having a gala time, to even think about returning to work soon.
