Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a 3D action platformer developed by Team Reptile. The game is set in a vibrant cyberpunk cityscape and features a stylish, fluid gameplay style. Players control a skate-slinging graffiti writer as they explore the city and complete objectives. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is inspired by Jet Set Radio, yet it offers a fresh take with its unique style.

Our first glimpse of the game was in 2020. Then, the Indie World Presentation showed us a deeper dive into BRC's vivid world in 2021. That's when we learned the game would be a 'timed console exclusive,' meaning it'll release on platforms at different times.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk hit the Nintendo eShop and PC on August 18th and will arrive on PlayStation and Xbox on September 1st. Players may wonder where the physical copies are.

Why You Can't Get a Bomb Rush Cyberfunk Physical Copy

Team Reptile hasn't announced a physical release for the game, probably because they don't plan to do so. It seems the developers only want to release digital copies of BRC.

Though we'll likely not get physical copies of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, there's plenty of digital content to get excited about.

The BRC DLC includes two characters: Base, a skateboarding robot, and Jay, an energetic inline skater. Players can choose these characters after unlocking cyphers in the game's second chapter. This DLC is also only $4.99.

The biggest Bomb Rush Cyberfunk fans might be into the Collector's Bundle, which includes the base game, DLC, and soundtrack for $53.97.
