LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Willem Dafoe has walked the red carpet with multiple nominations for his performance in 'The Florida Project', and his wife is his staunchest ally. Despite the fact that they may appear to be an unusual couple, Dafoe and his wife Giada Colagrande are more alike than one may initially imagine. Here's a closer look at the actor's companion.
Italian-born Colagrande studied abroad in Switzerland and Australia in addition to her own country. While Dafoe is a well-known actor in Hollywood, his wife works as an Italian actress, director, and screenwriter. At just 26 years old, Cologrande wrote, directed, and starred in her debut movie, 'Aprimi il Cuore' or 'Open My Heart'.

The film had its world premiere in 2002 at the Venice Film Festival, and it was then screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Paris Film Festival, and numerous other festivals. In 2005, she produced her second movie, 'Before It Had a Name', which was eventually renamed 'Black Widow', and in which Dafoe both appeared in and co-wrote the script, as per reports.

In 2010, she created and directed the film 'A Woman', and two years later, she contributed to the production of 'Bob Wilson's Life & Death of Marina Abramovic', which starred her husband. A year after they first met, Dafoe proposed to Colagrande, and they were married on March 25, 2005. "'Do you want to get married tomorrow?' I asked at lunch," the actor recalled. Dafoe's first wife, Elizabeth LeCompte, with whom he co-founded The Performance Group, died while he was young. The Italian artist is Dafoe's second wife, as reported by Amomama.
The actor from his former marriage had a son named Jack, who graduated from Yale and worked for the New York Apollo Alliance. Jack said of the organization, "We're the first organization to focus on renewable energy and job creation. We need to address global warming, and if we do that, we'll create a lot of jobs at the same time," as per reports.

Dafoe played Raven Shaddock in 'Streets of Fire', which served as his cinematic debut. He has had 24 deaths in his over 100 roles. However, the actor does Ashtanga yoga to maintain his physical fitness and learn meditation since he is conscious of his health in real life.
Although he has yet to make an appearance in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film, he has been in a number of comic book movies. Norman Osborn, also known as the Green Goblin, was played by Dafoe in the 'Spider-Man' trilogy. So, it's pretty likely that he'll show up in the MCU.
