LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: During his livestream on November 13, Twitch and YouTube star Felix Lengyel, better known as xQc, revealed that his house had been swatted.
He explained that for the second consecutive year on his birthday, someone had falsely reported an emergency at his house, a place he no longer resides in.
'xQc' clarified that the authorities were being misled to incorrect addresses. He expressed his concern, stating, "You're sending the police to the houses that I don't live in. I don't live in these places anymore. Okay? It's endangering a bunch of people, man! Like, bro, I had to say it. Okay."
xQc was swatted second year in a row
During a recent 13 minutes Twitch broadcast, xQc decided to discuss a swatting incident that happened on his birthday. He expressed his disbelief and frustration, stating, "It's for the safety of everybody. Okay?"
He further cautioned about the serious consequences of such actions, adding, "Guys, I didn't think I was going to address that at all. Okay? But guys, I have to. Okay? Listen, I think this is the second year in a row that somebody f***ing tries to f***ing swat me on my birthday. It's two years in a row, okay? Listen, what you need to understand is - I don't live there anymore! Okay?"
xQc called swatting a 'loser behavior’
During the stream Felix called out swatting, saying, "Guys, this is, like, the most loser behavior. Okay? Because there are no repercussions at all! There's zero! Like, for me because I don't even live there, in these houses anymore. And they try it on my birthdays and it's really stupid."
The 28-year-old also explained how things could go from bad to worse during police raids. He said, "People need to understand, like... things happen in the real world, where like, somebody's dog could get shot. Right?"
He added, "Like, things slip and things happen, and things go crazy during raids. Okay? During police raids, things happen, yeah. If the neighbor's dog runs out as he opens the door and it goes through the police, and they shoot... things happen, man! This is the real f***ing world."
