AUSTIN, TEXAS: Twitch streamer xQc has lately faced a lot of battles in his personal life, especially in dealing with his former partner Adept, which has had a significant impact on his day-to-day affairs. xQc mentioned that he needs some time off to find peace in his recent stream.
Adept was allegedly accused of breaking into xQc's home and stealing priceless personal items, such as baby photographs, among other private souvenirs, fairly recently. Not to mention, the cops have been called to xQc's house several times, adding to the streamer's already complicated situation. He's reportedly considering establishing an "encampment" or "bunker" to isolate and conceal his whereabouts.
'I like being alone in solitude'
xQc shared his thoughts and updates regarding the issue with his audience in a nine-hour-long stream, admitting that "life has been rocky" for him recently and that he is struggling. xQc described his plan to leave and find peace in an undisclosed area after becoming tired of the regular police inspections. He shared his thoughts of building a haven, such as a bunker, where he can hide for at least a week, if not longer, before returning.
The streamer said, "I think a good solution would be to set up a good encampment, like a good bunker, that’s, like, unknown. That’s what I thought I had here. But… I guess I’ll have to camp for at least a week, or maybe more, and then come back. Umm... and that's okay I like being alone in solitude." While xQc believes he'll be fine in isolation, he regretted having to leave behind the community of streamers surrounding him.
'There’s always someone to talk to and chill'
“There are so many people, so many streamers here, dude. There are like 40 streamers in the area, and we can always hang out. There’s always someone to talk to and chill [with], I can just bike around and go see people,” xQc said, continuing, “Literally, I can go to anyone’s house — It’s like a village here. It’s really chill. It makes me feel in the moment. Sometimes, that matters.” The Twitch streamer went on to say, “I do this, everyone does their same thing on their own, it’s like — all doing the same thing, it makes you feel like you’re part of something. Makes you feel like you’re in the moment. You know? And I really like that. Now this could be taken away, just like that. It’s just trash.”
xQc's longing for peace is reflected in his desire to disengage from his current situation. While the particular reasons for his need to go are unknown, it is clear that the continual disturbances from the cops and difficulties associated with his ex-partner have taken a toll on his well-being.
