xQc shares details about claims his ex-girlfriend Adept made in assault case: ‘Outrageous, unfounded, untrue’

QUEBEC, CANADA: During a recent livestream, Felix 'xQc' Lengyel revealed that Samantha 'Adept' Lopez asked him for a sizable sum of money to settle the sexual assault charge brought against him by her.

Even though the lawsuit has supposedly been resolved, xQc's dispute with his ex-partner Adept still continues. After the two separated, she filed a lawsuit alleging that he had sexually assaulted her. The case has since become widely known.

How much did Adept ask for to dissolve xQc's case?

Adept accused xQc of paying his Twitch moderators for sex just days ago, but the drama-filled affair has not yet come to an end as xQc revealed the specifics of his legal dispute with Adept.

On October 3, the former Overwatch pro started streaming and began to speak to his followers about the investigation's timeline of events. He said, “There was an application made by the other party for a protective order against me, so they had to be protected from me because I had committed family violence."

“The claims were extremely outrageous, unfounded, untrue, didn’t happen. And, they were so far out that I didn’t even know what I was reading when it was given to me,” he further remarked.

He also added, "There is a letter I received that demanded an extremely sizeable financial settlement," but he decided he "wasn't gonna buy [his] way out of anything."

Later, he clarified that the matter was presented before a Grand Jury and other law enforcement, including a "Detective," with whom he claimed to have spent hours speaking.

The streamer revealed how the matter came to an end, “There is no probable cause to continue further and it just stops right there and there is no warrants, no arrests, nothing, it just kinda stops right there.”

xQc continued, “We were asked for a sizeable amount of millions of dollars for it to go away.” He then provided more specifics regarding what the court paperwork stated if Adept dropped the case.

Adept has not yet addressed the allegations, and she has since been banned from Twitch for an unspecified reason, Dexerto reported.

xQc admitted he lost faith in people

xQc discussed his relationship with Adept in a Kick livestream, admitting to losing faith in people and not being the best boyfriend. He emphasized that no one should experience the same betrayal.

xQc said, “Yeah, it made me... maybe kind of lose faith in people, really. I think that's the one takeaway, chat. It made me lose faith in people, overall. A lot of events recently, like, I just lost faith in people entirely. I was like, 'Yeah, this is just, like, you can't trust anybody.'"

He went on to say, “Yeah, like I said, I wasn't... I'll always say this - I wasn't the best boyfriend at times. But, I don't think anybody deserves to feel that level of betrayal. I think it's just too much.”

Since Adept asserted that xQc was "violating court orders," the live streaming community has been discussing their relationship. Things quickly got out of hand once internet users discovered official documents proving that both were married.

xQc eventually stated that he was not married to Adept in response to the rumors. The former Overwatch pro was nonetheless accused by Adept on September 30, 2023, of acting inappropriately by reportedly paying a channel moderator for sexual favors, which caused a stir.
