The Yankees offense has been the worst in baseball over the past two weeks. If you don't believe me, just look at the numbers. Over the past 14 days, they're dead last in the Majors in both OPS (.625) and batting average (.205).
The Red Sox, meanwhile, come in at 12th (.741) and ninth (.254) in those two respective stats.
To make matters worst for the Yankees, they're rolling with Luis Severino this week, who has been terrible since returning to the lineup. He has allowed at least four earned runs in three straight games, including his last outing where he allowed seven hits and five earned runs against the Mets.
There's no doubt in my mind that the Red Sox are the bet to make on Sunday Night Baseball.
