Tyson Fury's pre-fight diet ahead of Ngannou clash sounds like a dream
Tyson Fury has shared his rather unconventional diet as he gears up for his fight against Francis Ngannou this weekend in Saudi Arabia. Appearing on GMB this morning (27 October), the 'Gypsy King' joked that despite needing to be physically fit, he doesn't go anywhere near salads. "I always eat McDonald's, marshmallows, beef burgers, KitKats", he joked. "How do you think I maintain this body shape? You don't think I eat salads and vegetables do you?" Taylor Swift appears to slam 'bisexual' rumours on 1989 re-release
Taylor Swift appears to slam 'bisexual' rumours on 1989 re-release
Taylor Swift's re-recorded 2014 album 1989 has dropped just in time for diehard fans to enjoy a weekend filled with nostalgia. The album marks an era when the star transitioned from country to pop muic, and saw her bag a Grammy for Album of the Year. Alongside her impressive spanning career in the limelight, comes trash talk. More specifically, years of misogynistic "slut shaming" surrounding Swift's dating history. Subsequently, Swift took a break from dating for two and a half years – which meant she naturally spent more time with her female friends. From doing so, baseless online rumours were birthed about her sexuality. Now, in a letter written for the re-release of the album, Swift shared her inspiration behind writing 1989, and in doing so, thanked fans for not leaning into claims online. "The voices that had begun to shame me in new ways for dating like a normal young woman? I wanted to silence them," the star wrote. "You see – in the years preceding this, I had become the target of slut shaming – the intensity and relentlessness of which would be criticized and called out if it happened today. The jokes about my amount of boyfriends. The trivialization of my songwriting as if it were a predatory act of boy-crazy psychopath. The media co-signing of this narrative. I had to make it stop because it was starting to really hurt." Swift continued: "It became clear to me that for me there was no such thing as casual dating, or even having a male friend who you platonically hang out with. If I was seen with him, it was assumed I was sleeping with him. And so I swore off hanging out with guys, dating, flirting, or anything that could be weaponized against me by a culture that claimed to believe in liberating women but consistently treated me with the harsh moral codes of the Victorian era." She went on to say that she assumed she "could fix this" by changing her behaviour. "I swore off dating and decided to focus only on myself, my music, my growth, and my female friendships," she explained. "If I only hung out with my female friends, people couldn’t sensationalize or sexualize that – right? I would learn later on that people could and people would." Swift went on to thank fans who didn't buy into spiralling rumours online and who "knew that maybe a girl who surrounds herself with female friends in adulthood is making up for a lack of them in childhood." Stoke City football stadium turns into rave in bizarre mid-week match moment
Stoke City fans who headed to the Bet365 Stadium to watch them take on Leeds this week were left baffled when the football ground seemingly turned into a rave. In a clip posted to X (formerly Twitter), by @stokeyyg2, fans could be seen looking around in confusion as Darude's 'Sandstorm' blared out of the speakers, and lights and lasers lit up the stadium. However, even when the song's iconic drop kicked in, the fans, who were wrapped up for the cold Wednesday night game, didn't seem to be getting on board with the party atmosphere. You can now get paid £300 to drink pumpkin spice lattes all autumn
You can now get paid £300 to drink pumpkin spice lattes all autumn
Autumn lovers are ecstatic to see the return of cosiness, with a season filled with pumpkin spice lattes, Gilmore Girls and cinnamon-scented candles. But what if we said you could be paid to do all of the above? That's right. Lingerie brand Pour Moi is on the hunt for a 'cosy coordinator,' and all they have to do is their favourite cosy season tasks while wearing their bras and pants. For the new role, the brand wants someone who knows pumpkin spices from their hot chocolates and loves nothing more than a cosy night on the sofa. The job tasks include drinking some of the season's most popular autumn-inspired hot drinks, watching your favourite fall-feeling box set or film and curling up on the sofa with a good book - all whilst wearing Pour Moi’s comfortable range of non-wired bras and soft pants. The successful candidate will be paid £300 for simply enjoying their favourite season. Emma Woodrow, Junior Buyer for Lingerie from Pour Moi, said: "Autumn is the perfect season to settle down and get cosy, but you might not think that underwear would be the comfiest thing to have on whilst snuggling up on the sofa enjoying a cosy afternoon in. "However, we’ve made it our focus to make sure that you have supportive and comfortable lingerie for all occasions, including relaxing at home. We’re excited to launch this new Cosy Coordinator role, to ensure that our super soft bras and pants are the best they can be for a lazy weekend in - proving you can be cosy and supported at the same time."
