‘Counting On’ alum Jinger Duggar speculated to have signed NDA as fans call her book ‘watered down’

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: 'Counting On' alum Jinger Duggar Vuolo's book 'Becoming Free Indeed: My Story of Disentangling Faith from Fear' became the talk of the town in 2023. Even though Jinger was seen talking about the conservative mindset of the Duggars in her book, she was not seen going too harsh. Internet speculates that Jinger might have signed an NDA before publishing the book.

A user took to Reddit with the title "Jingers NDA resulted in her watered down the book?" The user explained, "Do we think Jinger signed the NDA?? In a way, I think yes, and that’s why her book says nothing too bad about her family."

He added, "But on the flip side, I would imagine JB would have done anything in his power to stop her from publishing the book - especially if there was an NDA."

A user speculated in the comment section, "Jinger does not want to rock the boat in that way. She wants to maintain a great relationship with her Mom, Ben and Jessa. She also wants to leave the door open to have a relationship with her Dad if he wants it."

Another called out Jinger's book, "Jinger's book is promotional material for her new church, not a tell-all. The ghostwriter is a member of that church. Jill and Jinjer's books are completely different things."

"I wonder if the courts could overturn/nullify an NDA. There’s a high chance at least some of them were probably singing it out of some sort of intimidation, coercion, and/or duress," wondered a user.

Even though Jinge signing NDA is just speculation it is possible that she might have as Soap Opera Spy reveals Jill Dillard opening up in 'Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets' about being obligated to sign an NDA.

Jinger Duggar reveals in 'Becoming Free Indeed' how unfettered freedom led her to bondage

'Becoming Free Indeed' hit the shelves on January 31, 2023. Jinger opened up about the strict rules that Duggar kids had to follow while growing up, specifically the women in the family.

In Touch Weekly reports Jinger claiming, "I’ve come to see that unfettered freedom does not produce the good life. In the end, it often leads to more bondage. Why?"

She answered, "Because it puts me in charge of my life, and I am not the best judge of what is best for me." 'The Hope We Hold' author adds, "If given limitless options and the responsibility of figuring out what is going to make me truly happy, I struggle to commit to anything."

'Counting On' alum Jinger Duggar accepts having religious OCD as she slams Jim Bob's beliefs

Jinger has been open about the strict rules she had to follow while she was in IBLP. The reality star reportedly admitted to having religious obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Mayim gave a breakdown of Jinger's OCD behavior in 'Mayim Bialik's Breakdown' claiming, "people who are raised in very specific religious communities suffer from the disorder."

The host further noted that Jinger admitted to "compulsively praying, reading the Bible excessively, questioning her motives, and constantly seeking forgiveness." These are claimed to be the signs of disorder, that's allegedly the definition of OCD.

Jinger accepted, "I would kind of look at other people outside of our circles and think, ‘OK, maybe they’re walking with God. Maybe they’re not.’ Because you kind of see differences."

Is Jinger Duggar still a part of IBLP?

Seeing Jinger's Instagram posts, it's pretty clear that she is no longer part of IBLP as she no longer follows the rules of it.

Jinger has also been vocal about leaving IBLP. She said, "I have rejected much of the teaching I heard for many years. My faith is still intact, but it has changed. Instead of leaving the faith entirely, I've been disentangling it."

People report Jinger referring to IBLP as "harmful" and "cult-like."
