LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Since Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello announced their split, many theories are doing the rounds on what led to their separation. As per one of these claims, it was 'AGT' judge Sofia Vergara’s lifestyle, which mostly revolves around partying and drinking.
The duo recently announced a joint statement where they stated, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for the respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.” According to a close source, it was written on the wall, “Sofia and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.”

People on social media speculated about their divorce. Many blamed Columbian-native drinking habits as the reason behind the development. It is said Manganiello has recovered from alcohol addiction during his youth and Vergara’s regular indulgence with drinks forced him to distance himself for good.
A source told DailyMail, “Of course, the fact that Sofia is not sober had an impact on their marriage.” Adding, “He was warned about this when he started dating her and again before marrying her. He did not think that he was going to change her but he also didn’t think about the implications this could have on their marriage.”

An insider told Marca, "Sofia and Joe had a good run and managed to last longer than some within her friend circle suspected. One factor was absolutely their differing take on partying and enjoying a cocktail.”
Currently, Vergara is celebrating her 51st birthday with friends and shared photos on her social media account. Another source told PageSix, “At the start of Sofia’s big birthday trip those close to her were explaining away Joe’s absence with the excuse that he was busy filming back on the East Coast; that excuse barely held up due to the writer’s strike, but once the actor’s strike took effect, he could have been on the first flight… and he quite clearly is not.
