If your biggest complain about Dune was that it had too little Zendaya, then the latest trailer for Dune: Part Two will put any of those fears you may have had about the sequel to rest.
The trailer features Zendaya's Chani in full action hero mode, fighting evil Harkonnen troops and firing what looks like a lasgun at oncoming ships. We also see her arguing with Paul (Timothée Chalamet) about the messianic prophecy that he will save the Fremen people. Will this truly be a way to freedom for the Fremen? Or is it just another step towards further oppression and enslavement?
SEE ALSO: The ending of 'Dune' explained, and what to expect from Part TwoPaul is also struggling with the implications of the prophecy, as well as his visions of the future that see him gain major power. His mother Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) believes that they have given the Fremen hope, while allies like Stilgar (Javier Bardem) and Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin) genuinely believe in Paul. Paul's existential dread is off the charts, but at least he can blow off some steam with some sandworm-riding, right?
This latest trailer also further expands Dune's massive cast. We get more time with Florence Pugh's Princess Irulan as she plays what looks like sci-fi chess, as well as with Austin Butler's Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, who is having a grand old time stabbing people in monochromatic gladiator fights. Plus, we see our first glimpse of Christopher Walken as the Padishah Emperor, who hits Paul with a sick burn about his father being weak. Honestly, if you disrespect Oscar Isaac like that, you deserve the massive war that's coming your way. Bring on the desert battles!
Dune: Part Two hits theaters Nov. 3.
