Only Manchester City and Brighton had won their opening two games but the Gunners joined them on six points after a narrow success at Selhurst Park. In a close-fought encounter, captain Odegaard stepped up to steer home a second-half spot-kick, with the visitors then hanging on for the final quarter of the game after Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off. Coote was to make another couple of controversial calls shortly after, showing a yellow card to Tomiyasu for time-wasting at a throw-in before dismissing the Japan full-back seven minutes later for a soft foul on Ayew. Arteta reacted by introducing Gabriel Magalhaes in place of Martinelli, while Jorginho replaced Nketiah as Arsenal shut up shop in the closing stages. Jakub Kiwior and fit-again Oleksandr Zinchenko added even more steel to the defensive unit as Odegaard and Bukayo Saka made way. It proved just enough to keep Palace at bay, the Arsenal rearguard high-fiving and celebrating every challenge and clearance as they hung on to secure the win. Images circulated on social media of her holding a pint of Guinness for St. Patricks Day. The scene also recently aired on a new episode of The Kardashians on Hulu. But now, it appears that the whole thing was orchestrated for reality television with the appearance of another photo showing the whole scene with cameras and crew members. In a tweet, two pictures of Kardashian in the pub were shared showing how different the reality was from what was initially shared. One image on the left showed Kardashian holding a pint of Guinness in one hand and a shot glass in the other hand. Text overlaying the clip read: “Thanks for the pint @kimkardashian.” However, a second picture in the tweet showed the pub with multiple crew members operating cameras and lights, filming the scene. The tweet caption read: “disappointed to learn that this was the insta vs reality of kim k in the pub.” Replying to the original poster of the second image, which his since been deleted, one person replied: “I mean…. Maybe a couple cameras I expected, but this crew is almost taking up the whole bar haha and that’s not counting security etc..” Someone else wrote about the situation: “like why on earth would anyone think that was real like pls be serious these celebs are not your mate.” As well as the apparently staged St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl, Kardashian was also went to an Arsenal football match and at the London Eye with her seven-year-old son Saint, before heading to a Paris Saint-Germain match in France. Juanma Lillo has offered insight into Pep Guardiola’s insatiable appetite to keep improving himself and those around him. Lillo rejoined his fellow Spaniard’s backroom staff at treble winners Manchester City this summer after a year away. This weekend he will be filling in for the inspirational City manager as the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss takes time out to recuperate from back surgery. Guardiola is due to return to Manchester after the September international break and Lillo expects him to be as hungry as ever. “Pep is always very open, moment to moment, and he decides he always wants to improve and implement new things,” said Lillo, who will oversee the team at Sheffield United on Sunday and at home to Fulham next week. “That sense is very sharp. He’s very intelligent. He grasps not only what he’s going to do, but with whom he’s going to do it. “That helps to improve everyone that is around him. We all improve. “We all try and to pitch in for Pep to always be there, but he doesn’t need a lot of input because he’s constantly building and debating and generating ideas.” Lillo, 57, has had a long and varied coaching career with jobs in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Japan and China as well as at home in Spain. He was actually Guardiola’s manager at Mexican side Dorados de Sinaloa almost two decades ago and knew even then his former charge would make a good coach. “We’ve been working hand in hand for many years,” said Lillo, who first joined Guardiola at City in 2020 before leaving for a job in Qatar two years later. “He was my player back in the day. We have a relationship that goes all the way back and we understand things in the same direction. “When he was a player it was the same. He already had a true vision.
