What's a survival game without a spot of fishing? In V Rising, players awaken as a vampire who needs to prey on nearby human settlements in order to regain their strength and survive. But when you're not causing death and despair, there's a perfect activity available to help you unwind â fishing!
Before you begin your hunt for a Twilight Snapper, you'll need to make sure you've crafted a fishing rod. Afterall, you'll have no chance catching one with your hands. To unlock the crafting recipe for a fishing rod you'll need to craft a Woodworking Bench which, in turn, requires defeating Rufus the Foreman.
Where to Find a Twilight Snapper in V Rising
Players will need to following items to craft the fishing rod at the Woodworking Bench:
- 4Â Coarse Thread
- 4 Copper Ingot
- 8 Planks
Once you've crafted a fishing rod, you'll need to know where to head in order to catch a Twilight Snapper. This fish is somewhat rare, so don't expect to catch one on your first try â unless you're extremely lucky.
First, head to Farbane Woods and locate a body of water. Look for the shimmering spots to find a fishable area. Cast your rod into the water. Once the spot starts to splash, click to reel it in. You'll need to be quick as poor timing will cause the fish to swim away.
Keep at it until you get your Twilight Snapper. You'll need one in order to summon the Putrid Rat boss, so be sure to stock up if you're looking to fight it repeatedly.
