Ric Flair draws comparison between Logan Paul and Shane McMahon in regard to their wrestling careers

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: Logan Paul is among one of WWE's biggest wrestlers, as his athletic skills rapidly elevated him to stardom. His bouts against professional wrestlers like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and others demonstrated his fighting talent. Paul and wrestler Shane McMahon have now been compared by none other than Ric Flair.

Flair, a professional wrestler with over 50 years of experience, holds multiple titles in JCP and WCW, including WWF and TNA. He is a 16-time world champion, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, WCW International World Heavyweight Championship, and WCW Triple Crown.

'He reminds me of Shane McMahon'

It's been confirmed that Paul will compete in the 'Money In The Bank' ladder match. WWE Hall of Famer, Flair discussed Paul's stint with the company on the 'To Be The Man' podcast. Flair then compared him to McMahon, saying that both are fantastic risk-takers. “I expect he’ll [Paul] try, he reminds me of Shane McMahon. He’s not afraid of anything. So I think he’ll be a great contribution. I mean, those ladder matches are tough. You know, I took a lot of bumps in [those], and I’ve only been in a couple of them. But I don’t give them.”

Flair believes the YouTube sensation will make a significant contribution to the contest. After competing in the 2006 Money in the Bank tournament, the former world champion understands how difficult ladder matchups can be. The ladder match, according to Flair, is a difficult stipulation owing to the escalating risks wrestlers assume.

"After watching Jeff Hardy and Edge ... I can remember that spear to this day," Flair recounted. "It's like Mick Foley going through the cage and landing on the back of his head. There's just some bumps you never forget."

Who will Paul fight during the match?

According to the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Paul will deliver a remarkable performance. Despite not competing in any qualification matches, Paul announced his participation in the match. He will go against LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Butch, Damien Priest, and Santos Escobar in the Money in the Bank event at London, England's O2 Arena. Knight advised Paul to remain out of the match, claiming it would be a "mistake" for him to intrude in the competition. But Paul is ignoring his advice.
