Spoilers for ‘Silo’ Episode 3, ‘Machines’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Apple TV+ science-fiction series ‘Silo’ has created a ripple on the streaming platform for all good reasons. With a brilliant adaption from Hugh Howey’s book series, to a stellar cast and gasp-worthy cliffhangers, ‘Silo’ has it all. ‘Silo’ Episode 3, titled ‘Machines’, will keep you at the edge of your seats for the entire run-time, and a lot of that credit goes to Rebecca Furguson’s character, Juliette Nichols.
Holston and Allison Becker seem like a distant memory of the first two episodes of ‘Silo’ and Juliette has taken over the city and series, in the best way possible. Although, by the looks of it, things are about to get a lot more interesting for her, all thanks to Mayor Ruth Jahns, whose fate hangs by a thread.

Will Juliette Nichols accept the new job?
In ‘Silo’ Episode 2, before Holston Becker went outside Silo, he recommended Juliette to take over his position as the Sheriff, which was a shock for some, but the viewers understood the intention behind it. There is a lot that Juliette needs to uncover in Silo and find out the truth that Allison, Holston, or her recently deceased boyfriend, George Wilkins couldn’t. When Mayor Ruth Jahns and Deputy Marnes make their way to the bottom of Silo and offer the Sheriff’s job to Juliette, she immediately turns it down. No one, including Juliette, can imagine her as the sheriff of Silo, but her answer changes soon after.
Juliette realizes that to find the truth about Silo, she must take over this job. The only person who really has faith in Juliette is Mayor Jahns. Before Juliette makes the shift, she takes on the difficult, and nearly impossible task of fixing Silo’s generator. Of course, they eventually succeed but the entire sequence will leave the viewers with half-bitten nails and wide eyes. As Juliette’s new journey commences, elsewhere, someone’s might be ending.
What happens to Mayor Jahns?
As Mayor Jahns and Deputy Marnes make their way to Jahns’ office, things seem almost a little too good to be true. As Jahns excuses herself and Marnes calls out to her, when there’s no response, there’s a sense of worry filled in the room, and on the viewers’ screen. As Marnes breaks down the door, he finds Jahns on the floor, blood oozing from her mouth. While ‘Silo’ Episode 3 ends here, the conclusion drawn is that she was most likely poisoned. As Mayor, there were far too many people who loved her, but at the same time, some wanted her gone. This was orchestrated by Bernard, the head of IT, who is going to play a bigger part in ‘Silo’ moving forward.
