Tributes have poured in for the actor Angus Cloud who has tragically passed away at the age of 25. The American actor played the much-loved character Fezco O’Neill in HBO’s hit series Euphoria and his untimely passing has left fans in shock. Cloud’s family confirmed the news of his death in a statement issued on 31 July. The cause of death has not been disclosed. It read: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. “The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence. “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.” One of Cloud’s final Instagram posts shared two weeks ago was a picture of his late father, shared with the caption: “Miss u breh.” The post has since been flooded with tributes to the 25-year-old. Fans are calling Lana del Rey a "prophet" after Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, and Cardi B have all found themselves in controversy in recent weeks. Back in 2020, the 'Video Games' singer posted to Instagram a letter titled 'question for the culture' where she expressed resentment towards the music industry's standards for women saying there was no place for her and her music in the industry. Whilst making her point she mentioned the artists Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Kehlani, Nicki Minaj and Beyonce, saying they get praised for writing songs about "being sexy, wearing no clothes, f***ing, cheating etc" whilst del Ray gets accused of "glamorising abuse" in her songs. Her post was widely criticised at the time, accusing the singer of being racist for bringing down other female artists, the majority of them being women of colour. But over two years later, the 38-year-old is back in conversations for her post as her fans claim she's a "prophet" after many of the musicians she mentioned in 2020 have found themselves in the middle of controversy. Doja Cat has faced backlash for being rude to fans, as well as dating a Twitch streamer who has had allegations of harassment. Ariana Grande has been accused of cheating on her husband, who had recently welcomed a baby with his wife. Cardi B also was in the middle of a debate after she threw her microphone at a fan who threw a drink at her whilst she was performing. Controversial influencer Andrew Tate attempted to troll Amanda Holden but everyone pointed out his hypocrisy. The bizarre crossover unfolded after Holden posted a photo of herself wearing a black bikini and standing under an outdoor shower. Holden shared the image on Twitter along with the caption: “Good morning.” Tate, who is currently charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women, responded to her tweet suggesting she is somehow unqualified to post content like that. He wrote: “You are a wife and a mother and you’re far past a teenager. One person commented: “This take would've been fine if it wasn't for your hypocrisy, considering you're a bald 40-year-old charged for human trafficking and rape, while still posting shirtless pics of yourself on social media, touch some grass, Tate.” Another said: “You’re a 36 yr old Dad that eats his tea topless with his mates whilst under house arrest on charges of rape, human trafficking & forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women, I’m thinking you’re deffo not in the best position to preach on righteousness here fella!” Tate is currently under house arrest in Romania where he faces serious charges of sexual exploitation along with his brother Tristan and two other associates.
