Taylor Swift fans are wearing diapers to her concerts so they don't miss a thing
Taylor Swift fans are taking concert etiquette to a whole new level, by wearing diapers so they don't miss a second of her performance. The running joke circulated on TikTok with one fan writing "The diaper rash and trench foot was worth this moment of Taylor Swift looking right at us." Another clip, that racked up almost 300,000 views showed a fan struggling with her oversized disposable pants. "It’s the most durable, the most absorbent," she said. While diehard fans believe they have come up with an innovative solution, fellow TikTokers in the comments weren't too keen on the idea. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter "I think I would just hold it or very quickly go during a song I liked a bit less, I would never be able to actually go in a diaper and then linger in," one wrote, while another added: "If I can hold it on a flight from Ca to HI, I can hold it for a Taylor Swift concert." Meanwhile, a third added: "The bathrooms are emptyyyyy during the show, we sprinted, went, sprinted back and missed like 1/3 of a song we were okay missing." @sillygrlera the diaper rash and trench foot was worth this moment of taylor looking right at us? #delulu #taylorswift #erastour #foxboroughnight2 #gillettestadium #gilletten2 It comes after fans claim they suffered from feelings of forgetfulness following the star's sold-out tour. Speaking to Time, Jenna Tocatlian, 25, spoke about her experience at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts. She said: "If I didn’t have the 5-minute video that my friend kindly took of me jamming to it, I probably would have told everyone that it didn’t happen." Many more took to Twitter with similar claims, with some saying they felt guilty for leaving the show with no core memories. Have your say in our news democracy. Meta Quest 3: Mark Zuckerberg reveals new virtual reality headset ahead of Apple’s own major event
Mark Zuckerberg has revealed the new Meta Quest 3, just days ahead of the widely-expected launch of Apple’s own virtual reality headset. The new version of the Quest has higher resolution graphics, better performance and a slimmer and more comfortable design, Meta claimed. The new version of the headset will release later this year, Meta said, and much was left unannounced about the new headset, including the full details of the chip that will power it. Mr Zuckerberg suggested that more details about the new headset would be revealed at Meta’s “Connect” conference, on 27 September. While Meta and Mr Zuckerberg did not address the widespread rumours that Apple would launch its own headset, the reveal looks to have been scheduled to attempt to beat the reveal of that product. Apple will hold its Worldwide Developers Conference event on Monday, during which it is expected to release its own headset to the world. Like the new Meta Quest 3, Apple’s headset is expected to focus on graphics and a comfortable design, aimed at uses in both gaming and social features. Meta has long been looking to position virtual and augmented reality as the future for years, even renaming the company from Facebook to Meta in an attempt to shift focus onto its work in what it calls the metaverse. But it said that the new headset was the first that could allow for both “cutting-edge VR and MR experiences in a single device”, meaning that users can both inhabit entirely virtual worlds as well as put virtual objects into the real world. ““Ultimately, our vision is to enable you to move through all realities in a way that’s intuitive and delightful, going beyond the rigid classifications of ‘virtual reality’ and ‘mixed reality’ to deliver truly next-gen experiences that let you effortlessly blend the physical and virtual worlds,” said Mark Rankin, Meta’s vice president of virtual reality. “Meta Reality gives you both the deep, immersive magic of VR and the freedom and delight of making your physical world more fun and useful with MR. We’re excited to see what developers and creators can build on the Quest Platform when the possibilities are limitless.” The Meta Quest 3 will cost $499.99 USD for the 128GB option, with the option to pay for more storage space. The Meta Quest 2 will also receive a reduction in price, and it and the Quest Pro will receive software updates that Meta said should improve the performance of that headset. The Quest 2 and Quest Pro will stay in Meta’s line up, and will continue to get software updates, Meta said. “While Quest 3 sets a new standard for mixed reality, immersive gaming, and what a mainstream VR headset can be, Quest 2 remains our most affordable entry point to VR and Pro is optimized for work use cases, with face and eye tracking for more authentic self-expression in meetings,” it wrote in its announcement. Porn icon Angela White reveals 'mortifying' decision which made her a better performer
Porn legend Angela White has revealed that an decision early into her career in the industry ultimately helped her become a better performer even though it was "mortifying." In a recent appearance on the Pillow Talk podcast the 38-year-old Australian star recently made news after it was reported that she was hospitalised after acting in a particularly long scene, something which she later claimed was "blown out of proportion." Now White has claimed that one of the things that made her better at her job was the fact that she used to edit herself. Talking to the Pillow Talk hosts, White stated: "Early on, I edited my own scenes, so it made me a better performer. I directed my own scenes." Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter She also stressed to co-hosts Whitney Cummings and Ryan Pownall: "It's mortifying in the beginning because you see everything you do terribly wrong. But it just makes you a better performer. You learn you shouldn't be positioning my body in [this or] that way." She added: "Very small micro movements makes the biggest difference in porn... It's not just about looking into the camera." Elsewhere, White recently spoke out against people who were 'mad' at her for teaching at a prestigious university in California. There have also been hints that White is looking to start a new career in podcasting. Have your say in our news democracy.
