AUSTIN, TEXAS: Rae Cheung-Sutton was evidently seen being uncomfortable throughout Netflix's 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love.' Ever since the new episodes dropped, fans have been theorizing her aloof behavior. Rae recently confessed in one of her Instagram stories that she did not want to do the show in the first place.
However, it was Lexi who forced the star to do the show and experience new dating challenges. Seeing Rae accept that coming 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' was not her choice but instead was something forced on her, fans labeled Lexi 'manipulative.' Moreover, some slammed the star for giving a guilt trip to Rae and not caring about her partner's emotional and mental status.
Rae reveals being on 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' because of Lexi's persistent pressure
After the release of another four episodes of 'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' Rae did a "Ask me a question" on Instagram. To this, one of the fans asked, "Were you uncomfortable being there? Like if "I'm just here idk why" was a person.... lol." Rae replied, "When I tell y'all I did not want to do this or be there..." She further made it clear by saying, "I have said no number of times but Lexi was persistent and really wanted to do the experience." Rae claimed that she "ultimately said ok" and "leaned into the discomfort." According to Rae, the entire legwork in the casting process was done by Lexi. Saying yes to the show costed mental health to Rae.
Netflix's reality show star accepted, "The emotional overload mixed with short processing time was really difficult." She then explained her trauma, saying, "I was pulling up to dates crying, going to therapy twice a week, and just doing my best."
'Lexi wanted to up her Only Fans following'
A fan took Rae's Instagram story to a Reddit thread. Following the post, the comment section was flooded with people claiming that Lexi forced Rae to come to the show in order to increase her OnlyFans following. A fan commented, "Lexi wanted to up her Only Fans following. She likely didn’t care the, mental and emotional impact it would have on Rae."
Another called out the star, "Lexi is the Disney villain lol." "It’s hilarious how people are eating up Lexi’s bulls**t. She’s on this show for clout and to grow her social media followers like everyone else that goes on a reality show. If Vanessa was the one with only fans, this sub would used it proof as she’s here for the wrong reasons. But since it’s Lexi, no judgement," commented another.
Another fan decoded the situation, "Lexi is a dominant person and she wants things the way she wants them. Rae, on the other hand, has difficulty to stand her ground and speak up her mind." "Lexi’s actually the one who wanted to gain followers from this," another fan commented theorizing the reason of Lexi forcing Rae to come on the show.
'The Ultimatum: Queer Love' finale episodes will release on June 7 on Netflix.
