Singer Lizzo, known for her ‘body positive’ activism, is receiving support from celebrities amid the sexual harassment lawsuit against her. This was after she broke her silence on the lawsuit against her. The multiple Grammy-winning singer has been accused by three of her former background dancers of sexual harassment and for creating a "hostile" work environment. Lizzo posted a long message in which she termed the accusations “false,” “outrageous,” and “unbelievable.” She wrote, “[It was] never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable. I am very open with my sexuality and expressing myself but I cannot accept or allow people to use that openness to make me out to be something I am not.” Lizzo added further, “I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight.” After Lizzo posted her opinion on social media, she started receiving support from several celebrities including the likes of Selma Blair, Jennifer Garner, and Jameela Jamil. While many of the celebrities showed their solidarity by liking the post, some stars even penned long comments in support of her.

Kristin Chenoweth

The 'Pushing Daisies' actress Kristin Chenoweth extended her support to the 'Truth Hurts' singer by commenting on her post, saying, "This will be a blip soon enough. Keep your head held high girl. You know who you are. Others like to take the opportunity to get what they can. Ignore. Delete. It will be over soon."

Selma Blair

The 'Cruel Intentions' star supported the songstress by saying poignantly, "This too shall pass." Blair started her message with a "?", which stands for friendship, trustworthiness, and being happy.

'Wilson Philips' singer, Carnie Wilson showed her support by adding, "I could never imagine it coming from you!!!!!!"

'Drag Race' star Kahanna Montrese penned a long comment elaborating her collaboration with Lizzo. Montrese wrote, "As someone who has actually worked with you and your crew. I can say Lizzo has created on of the most uplifting, fun, diverse, and supportive shows I've ever been apart of. Every single person dancer, stage crew, and manager was so excited to be apart of the show because it honestly starts with Lizzo. She was so encouraging to every one of her dancers and guest she had."

"She really made me feel so special to be apart of her team and we had so many different types of queens," she added. "From different sizes to different culture backgrounds and every one of us felt loved and supported being on tour with her. Please don't let this define you Lizzo. I will never forget how special you made us feel working with you," added the star.

'American Idol' and 'Queen of the Universe' star Ada Vox lent support and said that everyone just has "fantastic" things to say about Lizzo. "I've known many people and other artists who have worked with & for you, and I’ve never heard anyone say anything but fantastic things about the energy and working environment they experienced. I'm hoping and praying all of this clears up soon, mama," she wrote in the comments section of Lizzo's post.

Candace Owens

In her podcast, the conservative commentator and podcaster Candace Owens was found saying, "I know everyone's going to think that my take is that Lizzo is guilty as charged. Actually far be it. My take is I do not believe that Lizzo is guilty as charged." She added, "Now here's my take obviously according to me, this is a frivolous lawsuit," per Newsweek.
