BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: Kristen Bell, along with her husband Dax Shepard and their two children, faced an unfortunate situation at Boston's Logan International Airport when their flight experienced a significant delay on July 26. Despite having nowhere else to go, they were asked to leave the airport premises.
With their flight delayed for a staggering nine hours, the well-known family resorted to purchasing $600 worth of pillows and sheets in an attempt to create makeshift beds on the airport floor. Unfortunately, their efforts to find available hotels within a 50-mile radius were in vain.

The incident prompted Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard to share their frustrating experience on social media, shedding light on the challenges faced by travelers during unexpected delays and the difficulties of finding suitable accommodations in such situations.
During the prolonged wait at the airport, Kristen Bell, her husband Dax Shepard, and their two children made the best of the situation by playing Uno and Spades to pass the time. As the delay continued and their flight's departure was pushed to the next day, they decided to hunker down for the night. Armed with blankets and neck pillows, they planned to spend the night at the airport.
Kristen Bell shared their airport adventure on her Instagram story, posting a photo of her family and friends who were also traveling with them, all sitting at a gate. On one of their instagram stories, the actress wrote, “Stranded at the Boston airport, 9 hours of delays”. In another story, Kristen Bell playfully shared the experience on her Instagram, posting a photo of herself standing in the airport with a toothbrush hanging out of her mouth, captioning it with "We made quite a home here”.
They almost made a home at the airport
Meanwhile, Dax Shepard uploaded an Instagram reel capturing the ordeal. He humorously noted that there were "ZERO vacancies in the greater Boston area." In the video, Kristen Bell jokingly mentioned taking off her shoes when she's in her bedroom as she removed her sneakers and walked onto a sheet they had laid out on the airport floor.
The camera then turned to Dax Shepard, who was lying on the floor with a neck pillow and blanket, as the couple tallied the amount spent on pillows, blankets, and sheets, which amounted to around $600 between them.
After making themselves cozy with pillows and blankets, and ready to spend the night at the airport, Kristen Bell and her family faced another setback. Unfortunately, they were unexpectedly "kicked out" late at night, leaving them with no place to go.
