The popular £4 hay fever tablet that ‘cures all symptoms’
The popular £4 hay fever tablet that ‘cures all symptoms’
A brand of over-the-counter hay fever tablets are likely to be popular this summer after they were hailed a “miracle cure” by social media users. Several videos made by TikTok creators have recently gone viral after they discovered that Allevia, an antihistamine that retails for as little as £4, could relieve them of hay fever’s symptoms, which include sneezing, a runny nose, itchy eyes or throat and more. The tablets, which claim to provide relief from symptoms for 24 hours, were previously only available on prescription but were re-classified to general sales status by the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency in December 2021. They are now available in most supermarkets and pharmacies. How is fexofenadine hydrochloride used? The active ingredient in the tablets is fexofenadine hydrochloride, which works by blocking the effects of histamine in the body, subsequently reducing symptoms such as itching and sneezing. Is Allevia any good? One TikTok user who was previously struggling with hay fever said all of her symptoms were “completely gone” after taking the tablet. Another shared an in-depth review of the effects of the tablets after a full day. After five hours of taking the medication, she said she hadn’t sneezed once. “This actually works. I’m impressed. My eyes are not bulging because they are itching. I feel good, I can enjoy the sun,” she said. She gave another update eight hours after taking the tablet, telling viewers that she had been out all day “around nature and plants” and still showed no symptoms. @tianarene1 it worked for me, but lmk your experience! Allevia, you have cured me,” a third person said. The popular tablets are stocked in most of the UK’s popular supermarkets, including Asda, Tesco, Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s. They are also available in Boots and Superdrug. Side effects of Allevia include headaches, dizziness, nausea and drowsiness. A brand of over-the-counter hay fever tablets are quickly selling out after being hailed a “miracle cure” by social media users. Kendall Jenner continues naked dress trend with topless illusion
Kendall Jenner continues naked dress trend with topless illusion
Kendall Jenner has stunned the internet with a modern twist on the classic little black dress. In a string of posts to her Instagram Stories, the supermodel continued the 'naked dress' trend with a glamorous David Koma mini dress – fresh off the runway. The staple piece gives the illusion of Jenner being topless, when in fact, there is a delicate neckline with two petals attached to her chest. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The 27-year-old's post was soon shared to Twitter where people flooded the photo with praise. "Mother is MOTHERING," one fan wrote, while another added: "Kendall Jenner the woman you are." A third wrote: "The Kendall Jenner SERVE." It comes after she and rumoured romance Bad Bunny became an instant internet meme when the pair were spotted at Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals between the LA Lakers and the Golden State Warriors in Los Angeles last month. During the game attention turned to their interaction at the game which some have called an ick "personified." While it's unclear what the rapper whispered to the reality star, her face said it all. The footage passed over to TikTok, where users attempted to lip-read their conversation. One viral clip by @maferdioses1 suggested Bad Bunny said: "Do you wanna go home after the game, you and me, is that possible or not?" The TikToker then believes Jenner responded: "We can do whatever." @maferdioses1 I think that’s what he’s saying, just like benito talks, sloooowly #badbunny #kendalljenner #kardashians #lipreading #celebrities One fellow TikToker commented: "Out of all the others I saw I think you are right." Meanwhile, another user suggested: "He's asking about dropping her friend off after the game (girl next to her) and Kendall says we can drive her." Have your say in our news democracy.
