A gallery has gone viral for its questionable art, being dubbed ‘The Andrew Tate Modern’
A gallery in the Netherlands has gone viral for the style of art is showcases, earning the nickname 'The Andrew Tate Modern'. CJS Gallery went viral after a video of the gallery was posted to Twitter/X by user @LurkerLouis with the caption 'For an art love like myself this place looks like a slice of heaven". The artwork showcased in the video include lots of painting/sculptures of gorillas, gold guns, the Ferrari logo, whisky and the Joker. As a result of the... unique choices of art found in the gallery, people couldn't help themselves but make jokes. "If men had a tjmaxx it would be full of this type stuff", wrote one user. "Is the art in the room with us", wrote another. One jokes that it was what Ken would decorate his "mojo dojo casa house" with. Whilst others said the style reminded them of Andrew Tate. CJS Gallery is situated in Zwanenburg, North Holland, and describes itself as a "Dutch modern art" gallery. Their website it reads: "Enjoy mixed media art full of details and special techniques." You can browse their catalog on the website, including pieces such as an American Express card featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Captain Jack Sparrow and the words "Bad Ass Express". The piece is selling for almost €5,000. The most expensive piece from the gallery is titled "Giant Mickey" and is, you guessed it, a giant Mickey Mouse. The Mickey is encrusted with more than 1.2 million crystals and is selling for over a quarter million euros. So, if you feel like you're missing some outlandish art featuring a beloved cartoon character holding a cigar, or a gorilla with a gun, at least you know where to get your fix. 'Dinner with Jay-Z or $500k' meme finally gets an answer from the rapper himself
The viral internet debate turned meme over whether you would take dinner with Jay-Z or $500k in cash has finally been settled by the man himself. The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, is one of the most successful in history and, in 2019, became the first billionaire in hip-hop. He is so successful, in fact, that he and his wife Beyonce were able to pay for a £160.5 million mansion in cash. Given his entrepreneurial experience, the debate has raged on the internet over whether you should take dinner with the mogul Jay-Z, and the opportunity to pick his brain, over half a million dollars. In a recent interview with Gayle King on CBS, Jay-Z settled the debate by urging people to take the money. “You gotta take the money,” said Jay-Z. “You got all that in the music for $10.99 – that’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. Take the $500,000, go buy some albums and listen to the albums. It’s all there.” JAY-Z weighs in on "$500,000 in cash or lunch with JAY-Z" debate: "You've gotta take the money" www.youtube.com Jay-Z went on to explain that everything people need to know about his journey to the top is already laid out in his music. He added: “If you piece it together and really listen to the music for the words, for what it is, it’s all there. Everything I said was going to happen happened, everything I said I wanted to do I’ve done. There’s the blueprint – literally, the blueprint to me and my life and my journey is there already.” According to Forbes, New York rapper Jay-Z has a net worth of around $2.5 billion, with his business ventures outside music including a clothing line, the music streaming service Tidal, and an alcohol business. Cospiracy theorists baselessly claim Biden has a body double
Conspiracy theorists think Joe Biden is actually just a guy in a mask, pretending to be the 80-year-old president. Under normal circumstances, that would be a baseless, fringe opinion that is consigned to the dustbin of public discourse. But now, Elon Musk’s social media platform X/Twitter is pushing it to the top of everyone’s newsfeeds. Tweets have flooded the platform in recent days claiming that Biden has a body double, following pictures of the president returning from his recent trip to Israel. “They’ve been pretty good up until now making sure he never spends too long in a hot room so the mask will start coming off of his chin,” said right-wing conspiracy theorist Brian Cates last week. “Here the mask is starting to come loose, it is visible and you can see the bulging in the chin area.” Cates was one of a flood of accounts which tweeted the video with a suggestion that Biden’s face was, in fact, fake, and got tens of thousands of likes and retweets for it. Separately, another user called Liz Churchill posted a video, which appears to be a zoomed-in shot of a television screen, saying: “This is getting more ridiculous by the day. This is not Joe Biden.” The discourse comes on the same day that the Kremlin denied a report that Russian president Vladimir Putin was ill. It also laughed off speculation that he used body doubles to cover for him in public appearances, a theory that has been circulating for several years. "Everything is fine with him, this is absolutely another fake," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. He was responding to a question about an unsourced report by a Russian Telegram channel that the president had suffered a serious health episode on Sunday evening. As for Biden, there is zero credible evidence to suggest that he is anything other than an old man with a wrinkly face. However, in the increasingly warped world of X/Twitter, conspiracy theorists now have all the blue “verified” ticks rather than trusted news sources. And it seems with Musk’s changes, such as pushing those blue tickers’ tweets into the new “for you” section of the feed, more and more people are going to be seeing theories like this, much more frequently.
