Woman says she removed her husband's penis after he cheated on her – but there's a twist
A woman was left raging after discovering her husband had cheated on her again – so much so, she 'chopped off' his penis. Meirivone Rocha Moraes, 37, received a text from her friend one evening with explosive claims of his infidelity, prompting her to demote him to the sofa and punish him by "taking off" his manhood. While her reaction is incredibly extreme (and not to mention, illegal), it's not all that it seems. Moraes' husband is a rag doll. "It is just a white rubber dildo, which measures about 16cm. So I decided to take it off. I’ve done it before," she said. She went on to detail her paranoia that "other women will touch Marcelo's penis," so instead she "likes to put it in the [underwear] drawer when we go out to bars or shows." "Then, there is no chance of any other women lusting after him." Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Moraes, who has a child with rag doll Marcelo, said this isn't the first time he's been unfaithful. "Last time, I found a bright pink thong on the floor," she shared. "I found out that Marcelo had been with another woman but when I asked whose they were, he didn't answer me." Moraes continued: "Marcelo is naughty, he goes after women and then lies to me that nothing happens." She also claims that the rag doll has over 500 contacts on his WhatsApp, all of which are women. She added: "Every now and then I catch him in a conversation with a girl, and when I ask who it is, he tries to say it’s his cousin." For now, Marcelo continues to sleep on the sofa, and hasn't received his penis back yet. Have your say in our news democracy. ‘Giant human poo’ dumped on Australian beach - and all to make an important point
‘Giant human poo’ dumped on Australian beach - and all to make an important point
If you happen to be near the iconic Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, then you stand a chance of getting a photo taken with a ‘giant human poo’ which has been dumped on the shore to mark World Environment Day on Monday. You may well think that plopping a poo on the coastline isn’t exactly a good look on a day designed to draw attention to protecting nature and the planet, but it’s actually made of rescued plastic from south east Asia, and intended to spread a pretty important message. On a webpage explaining their publicity stunt, the New Zealand-based company Better Packaging said: “We’re kicking up a stink because humanity has a problem. We just can’t seem to stop making more and more new plastic, most of it never gets recycled and far too much of it ends up in our oceans. “Basically, we treat plastic like s***.” We see what you did there. They continued: “This giant poop represents the amount of plastic that enters the ocean every 30 seconds. Scary huh. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter “Most of it enters via land, and most of that from Asia. These regions don’t have any formal waste management or recycling infrastructure – plastic just gets thrown ‘away’, buried or burnt. “Eventually, with the next monsoon rains, that plastic will get washed into a ditch, then a stream, a river, and then the ocean. We want to stop that happening!” Hence the four-metre high turd, which is made mostly of recycled plastics and second-hand fishing nets, with a wooden tree structure at its base to “keep it upright”. You wouldn’t want a floppy plop, after all (sorry). The artwork – if we can call it that – is titled "Plastic Pile of S***, 2023". Its unveiling follows a report by the United Nations’ Environment Programme (UNEP) in May which it said plastic pollution could fall by as much as 80 per cent by 2040 if both countries and companies make “deep” shifts in policies and markets through the use of “existing technologies”. “The way we produce, use and dispose of plastics is polluting ecosystems, creating risks for human health and destabilising the climate,” said Inger Andersen, executive director of the UNEP. Oh, and if you fancy witnessing the ‘excrement’ but are nowhere near Australia, then you might be in luck, as Better Packaging have said they’d “love to take it ‘on tour’” after going into temporary storage. Man under fire for confronting homeless man who bullied him at school
Man under fire for confronting homeless man who bullied him at school
A man has faced backlash on social media for filming himself confronting his school bully after he saw that he was now homeless. The clip - which shows the man behind the camera approaching the homeless individual who is sitting on some steps - went viral after the Twitter account Crazy Clips posted the video with the caption "man confronts his high school bully". "At high school you was the man homie. What the f*** happened to you?" the man says. "Remember when you used to flex on me at high school? Because I used to wear baggy clothes?" Panning from the homeless man to his car, the man filming the video says: "Now look at you. Now look at me." The homeless man attempts to shake his hand but is rejected. He doesn't say anything, mainly avoiding looking into the camera and smoking. At the end of the video, the man then throws the homeless man's stuff around and shouts in his face "tighten the f*** up man." He also repeatedly calls the homeless man a "d***head". Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Whilst the man behind the camera may have felt high and mighty in the moment, viewers on Twitter criticised him for his actions, with many calling him "cruel" and pointing out that he himself has now become the bully. Bride shares wedding horror story as brother turns up in ‘disrespectful’ pirate costume
Bride shares wedding horror story as brother turns up in ‘disrespectful’ pirate costume
A woman has shared her wedding horror story and revealed that her brother insisted on dressing up in a ‘disrespectful’ pirate costume. Posting on the popular “Am I the A**hole?” Reddit thread, the woman didn’t know how to react after being told her sibling was attending her big day dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. The bride wrote: “My brothers wife called me up to tell me they were getting me personalized M&M’s as a wedding present (cool!), oh and, BTW, ‘Since you’re having a yacht wedding, Greg will be wearing a pirate costume.’ I said ‘Please no.’ “But he showed up in a pirate costume exactly like the Johnny Depp pirates of the Caribbean one anyway. Complete with fake dreadlocks.” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The woman went on to write: “If he had done this to any of my older sisters on their weddings, they would have cried and freaked out. Or if I had embarrassed him on his wedding he would have flipped out. But I’m seen as the ‘wacky artistic little sister’ that everyone can do whatever to. And he’s so ‘sensitive’ that everyone in my family indulges him and never calls him out.” She went on to say: “Then I got to look like a bridezilla in front of my other guests for being very visibly not thrilled after he interrupted my first dance with my new husband to twirl me around the dance floor against my will while he swung a sword around. One of my new relatives acted like I was being uptight, told me she found the pirate costume funny. I didn’t bother to explain to her ‘Yeah well it’s not your big expensive event with your family being disrespectful as usual.’” The post continued: “I am worried that I am too sensitive and uptight when it comes to my family and the way I sometimes feel disrespected by them. I wish I could lighten up.” She added: “TLDR: I’m the youngest in a big family where they’ve always expected me to be ok with all of my stuff being treated as a joke, whereas their stuff is sacred. And my brother wore a pirate costume to my yacht wedding after I begged for that not to happen. I’m worried that I’m too sensitive to my family dynamics and might be super uptight about how my family dressed and behaved at my wedding, and felt insulted by my bothers costume.” Safe to say, the internet was appalled by the post. The comments section was full of people showing support for the bride, and criticising the selfish acts of the brother. One wrote: “You should have left him stranded on an empty island.” Another added: “I would be so hurt if a close member of my family though so little of me as to do this. I’m so upset that nobody pushed him into the sea.” A user commented: “He made you and your SO day about himself. He's an ahole.” “Your wedding, your rules. He is a huge AH. I would banish him from any future event. A wedding is a big thing and he has no right to ignore your request,” one more said. Another added: “Your brother has main character syndrome. I would feel completely disappointed and hurt. I think you really need to lay down the law this time with this family dynamic or not respecting your events. IShowSpeed captures moment rival fan attacked him at FA Cup Final
Not only did Manchester United fan IShowSpeed not get the result he’d hoped for at the FA Cup Final, but he also got attacked by a rival fan too. The American YouTuber was at Wembley for the game, which Manchester City won 2-1 thanks to a brace from Ilkay Gundogan. Things went from bad to worse for IShowSpeed, real name Darren Watkins Jr., who was watching the game when a man in front of him appeared to punch him. The 18-year-old looked shocked as the punch sent his phone flying out of his hand, with the incident caught on his stream. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter His security stepped in and moved him away from Speed into the rows of seats below. Another member of the crowd then handed the phone back to the YouTuber, before Speed shouted at the man in disbelief. “What? Bro, what did you just do?” he said. “Why did he just f***king punch me, bro? Why did he put his hands on me? I didn’t even touch him!” It comes after Speed recently made headlines after signing up to Rumble to produce a handful of exclusive livestreams a month alongside streamer Kai Cenat. MrBeast wants to make a Netflix quiz show with the 'biggest prize ever'
Mr Beast is known for his huge giveaways on YouTube and he’s looking to step things up a notch with his next project. The content creator, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has been sharing his ideas for a brand new game show on social media. It's not just any old game show, either. The 25-year-old wants to give away the “largest prize” ever and make TV history. He might be the biggest name on YouTube, but it looks like he’s trying to involve other streaming platforms in his next big idea too. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Writing on Twitter, Donaldson said: “I want to test what I do on YouTube on a streaming service for fun to see how it performs.” He added: “Imagine a 10 episode series with 10,000 people competing for the largest prize in game show history.” Donaldson clearly wants to involve other platforms, too. “Who wants to make history?” he asked, tagging Netflix, Disney, Peacock and [HBO] Max. Only time will tell whether anyone takes him up on the offer. It comes after Mr Beast previously revealed the staggering amount of time he spends making YouTube videos - but insists it improves his mental health. The content creator spilled his secrets on Lex Fridman's podcast, saying: “When I'm really in the grind mode it'll be seven or eight days just non-stop going, going, and then I'll realize, 'Oh, I need some recharge time,' and then go f** binge a season of anime", he says. Woman turns her unpleasant experiences with men on the street into eye-opening art project
Woman turns her unpleasant experiences with men on the street into eye-opening art project
A woman turned unwanted and unpleasant experiences with cat callers into an art project, showcasing the dangers of street harassment. Noa Jansma was a student living in Amsterdam when she created the Instagram account @DearCatcallers. The account, which was most active in 2017 but has been recirculating online again recently, saw Jansma pose for selfies with every person who catcalled her while walking around the city. The selfies were taken in the month of September that year, and feature men from all different backgrounds – all appearing to show no shame for their actions. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter “They’re not at all suspicious because they find what they do completely normal,” Jansma said. Writing on her social media page, Jansma said: “This Instagram has the aim to create awareness about the objectification of women in daily life. Since many people still don’t know how often and in whatever context ‘catcalling’ happens, I’ll be showing my catcallers within the period of one month.” The account posted before the arrival of a 2018 law in the Netherlands which punishes catcalling and subjects offenders to fines of up to $220 (£175). New laws in the UK were also brought in at the end of last year. It was confirmed in December that sexually harassing women in public is set to be punishable by up to two years in prison under proposed laws backed by the Government. Home Secretary Suella Braverman declared her support for the new legislation, brought forward by former Tory minister Greg Clark, to make the behaviour a specific offence, as she insisted every woman should “feel safe to walk our streets”. Public sexual harassment was already illegal, but did not exist as an offence of its own. The Government wants to make the law “clearer” to the public and the police, encourage women to report their experiences, and emphasise the severity of the crime. Have your say in our news democracy. The FaZe Rain and Grace Van Dien controversy explained
The FaZe Rain and Grace Van Dien controversy explained
FaZe Clan is one of the world's most popular professional esports organisations, with members such as Twistzz, Olofmeister, Rain and now former Stranger Things actress, Grace Van Dien. The actress-turned-streamer is one of the group's newest recruits, and while many were thrilled by the news, some were left feeling confused. Some suggested Van Dien has limited gaming experience, and others have critiqued the collective for prioritising a celebrity status over a professional gamer. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter FaZe member Rain has been particularly vocal about the group's decision, leaking the surprise to his 3.1 million followers. On her stream, Van Dien hit back: "I’m sorry sir, were you in the meeting with us? Were you there?" "No, I’ve never f**king met you and that is not why FaZe signed me. That is definitely how I got the meeting, yes, I will give that credit. That is how I got the meeting." She continued: "But, that is absolutely not why I’ve signed. The things that we spoke about in the meeting are why I have. So, get f**king wrecked to everyone saying that, to Rain saying that. Like, you weren’t there, you have no idea." On 28 May, people accused Rain of going "too far" after sharing an explicit rant about Van Dien that he later apologised for: The comments sparked a response from the actress, who brought up Rain's previous issues with drugs. "I know you, Rain, as the person who almost overdosed on a live stream," she said. "And I know that you’re better now, and I’m really proud of you for that. I am." The back-and-forth led to the pair meeting, which fans believed would have settled the conflict. During their discussion Van Dien reference an old tweet of Rain's from 2013 that made a violent suggestion about actress Emma Watson. In the end, Van Dien left the room crying and threatened to leave FaZe if the video was uploaded. In a statement from the official FaZe Twitter account, they wrote: "FaZe is no stranger to contrasting viewpoints and passionate opinions on the future of the brand. Recruitment has always drawn that out. But make no mistake, the mistreatment of our newest member is in no way OK. Grace joined in hopes to bring her voice to FaZe & we stand by her." UberEats customer refuses to take order from driver who asked him for cash
Food delivery apps can make life that little bit easier with quick, accessible options from a wide range of restaurants. However, one customer experienced an awkward interaction with their Uber Eats delivery driver, who refused to deliver his order unless he paid for the petrol. In a post to Twitter, lawyer Exavier Pope shared the string of texts and tagged the official Uber support account. "I'm gonna run outta gas. Can you Cash App me a few bucks for gas, please? I had no idea u were that far," the initial message to Exavier read. Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The driver then proceeded to contact Exavier via text, writing: "Yo, it's your Uber driver. I can't make it to you unless I can somehow get gas money." "This is harassment," Exavier tweeted while giving live updates to followers. The saga continued when Exavier hit back and called his behaviour "unprofessional" after the driver attempted to call him five times and repeatedly asked for money. Exavier did "not feel safe taking the order," and asked the driver to leave the food outside. "I am about to call the police on this dude," he said. "Thank you for bringing this to our attention," the Uber Eats account tweeted. "Behavior like this is definitely not OK! A member of our team is on top of this and will follow up with you via in-app as well as to the email address associated with your Uber account." Exavier responded: "It was definitely a harrowing experience and something I do not want to experience again. [This was] a person coming to my home pressuring me for money.
