A man has come under fire for asking his girlfriend to shave her armpit for a family event. In a post to Reddit's "Am I the A**hole?" forum, the guy explained the situation that led to the disagreement between the couple. "She shaves everything else, although she'll happily go kind of long between shaves, but her armpits she probably shaves once every two or three months for a special occasion if she really feels like it," he said. "I don't have an issue with this most of the time, although I'm not really used to this and would probably prefer she shaves, she's really clean and never smells bad or anything." He then went on to describe how his request for her to shave her armpits didn't go down well. "She got really offended and said that was really harsh of me and now she doesn’t even want to come. I don't think I'm being unreasonable asking her to shave," he said. Since sharing the post, the comment section was inundated with people sharing their opinions on the matter. Larry Sinclair, the convicted criminal who claimed to have had drug fuelled sex with Barack Obama in a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, has been slammed by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy. Blogger and businessman Portnoy, whose website has become one of the best read sports news sources in the US, said he met Sinclair at Carlson’s studio when he was filming his own interview with the fired Fox News host. He said: “I would trust Anna Delvey before I trusted anything Larry Sinclair said,” referring to the famous con artist on whose life the recent TV show Inventing Anna was based. “Top to bottom maybe the least trustworthy human I've ever laid eyes on. I’d say his story has 0.0% of being true and that’s generous.” Carlson’s interview with Sinclair aired on Wednesday, in which Sinclair repeated longstanding, unfounded claims that he used cocaine and had sex with the former President twice. Sinclair’s claims refer to supposed incidents in 1999, when the politician was working in the Illinois government and already had a public profile, just before his meteoric rise in the 2000s. The claims have never been verified, despite Sinclair repeating them since 2008, when Obama was running for his first term as president. They are compounded by the fact Sinclair has a long criminal record dating back to the 1980s. Convictions include counts of forgery, fraud and larceny. He has served time in prison in Arizona, Florida and Colorado. Despite all of this, Carlson has described Sinclair’s claims as “credible information that [Obama is] smoking crack and having sex with dudes”. Even Elon Musk, the X/Twitter owner whose platform has given Carlson a new lease of life since he was fired from Fox News earlier this year, seemed thrown by the bizarre interview. A man who was mistaken for the escaped prisoner, Daniel Khalife, has spoken out about his brush with the law. Officers from Thames Valley Police questioned a man at Banbury Train Station on Thursday afternoon, responding to a supposed sighting of Khalife, who is on the run after escaping from Wandsworth prison in South London. But the man was not Khalife, who was imprisoned over suspected terror charges, it was just... some bloke. Nevertheless, a video of him interacting with the police at the train station, which has since been deleted, went viral, spreading misinformation that Khalife had been caught. Posting on Twitter, the man who was mistaken for Khalife explained what happened, and luckily he seemed pretty chill about the incident. He said: "Hi everyone, just made this acc to explain what happened today. A woman mistook me for Daniel Khalife, and alerted the police. After about 20 mins of questions (and some gd banter) i proved I wasn't the escapee after a finger print scan. Honeslty crazy how much this has blown up." In other tweets, he added: that he "was more worried about missing my train" and that the person who reported him needs "Specsavers". "I got released after they found out who I really was, and the train station put in business class as an apology!" he added. As for the real escaped prisoner, Cdr Dominic Murphy, head of the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, says there have been no confirmed sightings of Khalife since he escaped from HMP Wandsworth in south London on the underside of a van. Scotland Yard confirmed “police activity” in London's Richmond Park on Friday was part of the hunt for the former soldier. Khalife is charged with terror offences, including "collecting information which might be useful to an enemy.” Police believe Khalife poses a "low risk" to the public but people are being urged not to approach him and to call 999 instead. A flight attendant who quit her "dream" job to work in McDonald’s has revealed why she doesn't regret her decision. Swapping the skies for the fast food chain is exactly what Saffron Laszkowicz from Doncaster did, and in a viral TikTok she has opened up about how the career move has proven to be more lucrative. In the clip she began: “I started working at McDonald’s in December 2020 during Covid, I had nothing to do because we were in lockdown.” She went on, explaining that when Covid restrictions began to lift, she followed her dream and began training to be a flight attendant in May 2022. After the six weeks of training, Laszkowicz realised that she would be financially worse off by pursuing her dream career than she would have been if she stayed at McDonald’s. A man has been arrested in Florida after he tried to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a giant hamster wheel. Reza Baluchi, an Iranian athlete, got about 70 miles off the Georgia coast until he was spotted in the contraption by the US Coast Guard. He then proceeded to have a nearly three-day standoff with the USCG, in which he refused to leave the hamster wheel, claiming he wanted to keep going to London. Eventually, authorities extracted him from the vessel, which was judged to be “manifestly unsafe”, and took him back to shore. Baluchi, 51, embarked on his bizarre voyage days before Hurricane Franklin hit parts of the Caribbean and the US east coast. When authorities caught up with him, he “replied that he was armed with a 12-inch knife and would attempt to commit suicide should the USCG officers attempt to remove him,” court documents said. Baluchi then threatened to blow himself up if he was removed from the hamster wheel. “USCG officers again ordered Baluchi off the vessel, but he again refused. It was then that Baluchi informed the USCG officers that the bomb was not real.” Incredibly, this is not Baluchi’s first run-in with the Coast Guard. His last voyage, in 2021, ended in a similar way, after he tried to reach New York from Florida in a human-powered ball. His trip was curtailed when he realised he had forgotten his GPS and charging cables, and he was forced to return to the shore. A passenger who was onboard the now-infamous diarrhoea Delta flight has detailed the “horrible” experience everyone endured. The Delta flight went viral after details emerged confirming the plane U-turned after a passenger onboard “had diarrhoea all the way through” the plane. The incident occurred on 2 September on a journey between Atlanta and Barcelona, which turned back around an hour into the journey. Audio recording from the flight deck heard the pilot of Flight DL194, explain: “This is a biohazard issue. We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhoea all the way through the aeroplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta.” A passenger whose partner was onboard has spoken up about the experience, writing on X/Twitter: “My partner was on that flight! It was pretty bad. It was dribbled down the aisle, smelled horrible. “The vanilla-scented disinfectant used on it only made it smell like vanilla s**t. After the plane landed, it was thoroughly cleaned. They didn’t leave until around 2.30am.” They continued: “The flight was met by emergency vehicles and EMTs carried the sick passenger off the plane. My partner said the plane was cleaner when they got back on at 2am than it was the first time they got on. No smell either.” Another passenger who was onboard explained that it was right for everyone to make the decision to turn back. On X/Twitter, they said: “Both my wife and I were on the flight. It was a mess. The pilots made the right decision to turn around. The ground crew ripped out the carpet and put new in. Gen Z is ditching sanitary products and encouraging others to do the same and try 'free bleeding'. A recent surge of TikTok uploads shows women embracing the method and educating viewers on how to do it. The centuries-old practice is simply not using period products. Some people, including prominent TikTokers, are taking part in a movement to remove the stigma and normalise free bleeding. Others are doing it for environmental factors as most products are single-use and disposable. In one viral clip, Brittany (@odbrittany) tells viewers she is free bleeding and "it is not bad at all." She explains how she purchased three pairs of reusable period pants from the brand Thinx and claims since using them indoors her "cramps are not bad compared to how they are when I'm wearing a tampon." Brittany adds that she has tried other methods such as menstrual cups, but is pleasantly surprised that she likes the period pants. Body cam footage of a Washington State police officer has gone viral after he took an unconventional method to try and get a group of teenage suspects to surrender. The teenagers were suspected of stealing a car and had been chased on foot by authorities into the forest, after stop sticks had been used to deflate the car's tyres. So one deputy decided to try an unusual tactic in an effort to get the teenagers to surrender themselves. "Don't make us realease our K-9s," the officer can be heard shouting, before imitating the bark of a dog. The officer also yells "better stop", before continuing to bark, whilst his colleague reads a description of the suspects in the background. The teenagers eventually surrendered and walked out from the forest towards deputies before being placed under arrest. They told deputies they actually believed there was a dog and gave up as soon as they heard the barking. In a video posted to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department's Facebook, Sgt. Darren Moss Jr. said, "the kids actually believed there was a dog, and, in the end, they told the deputies, 'Man, soon as I heard that dog, I gave up.'" However, whilst it may have been believable to the four teenagers, people watching the clip had other opinions. In the comment section of a TikTok showing the body cam footage, people were shocked the teenagers fell for the deputy's trick: "It wasn't even believable," wrote one user. Another wrote: "I'm crying real tears rn please how did they believe this." "Imagine having to go to court and watch this back infant of everyone, I'd plead guilty asap," said one user. Users also compared the bark to the likes of Scooby Doo and Brian from Family Guy. No details about the suspects' identities or the charges they may face have been revealed. Now, Danis has claimed that he possesses a picture which is capable of disrupting the pair’s relationship – and he supposedly shared it with Twitch streamer Adin Ross as part of a recent video. The clip, which was shared by the Happy Punch page on Twitter/X, saw Danis claiming to show Ross a picture. Ross appeared to be shocked in the clip, saying: "Bro, what the heck, bro? Now, that is beyond wild, bro. I actually feel really bad." It’s just one example of the misogynist trolling aimed at Agdal. Over recent times, Agdal has been trending on social media due to an explicit video that people have claimed features her. However, it has been reported that the video in question does not feature Agdal. The internet has gone crazy after a video of actor Timothée Chalamet and reality star Kylie Jenner were spotted kissing at a Beyoncé concert. The video came after months of speculation that the two had become an item. But some are seemingly more upset than others about the pair, namely one Chalamet fan account known as Club Chalamet, run by a woman called Simone who describes herself as a "GenX LA based super fan account". On her Instagram account she called Jenner a "stalker" and says "it looks like they're meeting for the first time since she's been stalking his place. What else is he supposed to do, spit in her face? He was probably there with friends and mama kajenner waved her staff and commanded this meeting be filmed." Simone continued to upload on her social media, sharing her distress at the pair being spotted together. Later that night she posted a photo of text that read "If you're feeling distressed by the video, it's ok. But please take care of yourself. Step away from social media for a couple of days." However, later in the night footage of the pair kissing went viral, and, in Simone's words, "it does get worse." "Based on all the DMs I have received, fans are absolutely devastated and disappointed. I don't know what more I can say to alleviate your pain and heartache, I truly sympathise with you. Please take some time away from social media to tend to your mental health because that's very important to me," she wrote. "For those of us who know better," she continued, "stay strong. the relentless pursuit of Timothée Chalamet had an end game and what better way to claim her prize than at a Beyoncé concert where half of Hollywood and the media would be there, with a special focus on the kajenners and their guests in the VIP stand." In another post she wrote: "The past 24 hours have been stressful for must of us, especially those of us who support Timothée." Over on Twitter/X, she bizarrely claimed that his smoking at the event was a "clear sign of his level of stress and discomfort." Of course Simone's strange accusations and seeming-obsession with Chalamet drew a lot of criticism online. Many called her "delusional" and "insane": It also led many to comment on parasocial relationships and its impacts. PsychCentral defines parasocial relationships as "a one-sided attachment with a fictional character or media personality." And with the rise of social media where it is easier for fans to interact with celebrities they love, the risk of forming a parasocial attachment is higher, as can be seen by Simone's reaction.
