"Turn on the water, sit down in the tub, and wash absolutely nothing." She went on to jokingly claim the 'nothing shower' was "excellent for migraine management, muffling sobs and hiding from responsibilities." The TikTok, which is a series of screengrabs of text messages between the two women, who are known only as Charlotte and Em. The slideshow was shared on TikTok by the account @things.i.cant.sen and has already been viewed more than 5 million times. The story starts with Charlotte texting 'Hey' to Em, however, the latter woman is surprised to hear from Charlotte. The crux of the conversation is that Charlotte wanted to tell Em that she got a place at New York University. Em says that she is 'proud' of Charlotte but as the text messages continue it becomes obvious that the two women were once a couple. Although Charlotte is still in love with Em the feeling isn't mutual adding that she was once in love with Charlotte but isn't. anymore. Things soon turn very emotional and intimate when Charlotte speaks about 'peeling oranges'. "I miss when you would peel my oranges for me in the morning," says Charlotte. Authorities in China have installed lasers on highways to stop drivers from falling asleep at the wheel. The addition of the anti-sleep lasers was made in a bid to improve road safety and a clip of how they work has gone viral online. It was popularised on X/Twitter by a user going by Science girl, who is known for sharing clips of some new and innovative initiatives. The video has been viewed 56 million times and shows some extremely bright laser lights shining out from an overhead sign, slowly flashing and changing colours above drivers. It is the aim to catch the attention of sleepy drivers and stop them from drifting off, reducing the risk of an accident occurring. Sciene girl wrote: “A video captured on the Qingdao–Yinchuan Expressway displays vibrant laser lights hovering above the vehicles. “Mr. Li, the person behind the camera, reported that these laser lights designed to combat fatigue quickly revitalized him and reduced his exhaustion during a prolonged nighttime.” But internet users were divided over whether the lasers would actually be effective. One person argued: “1) This would distract me. 2) This would put me to sleep when I got used to it.” Others joked that the lights were so bright that even if woke you up, it would also effect your ability to see properly. Pop singer Sabrina Carpenter’s latest music video appears to have drawn the wrath of God – or his representatives, at least. Brooklyn bishop Robert Brennan criticised Carpenter’s music video 'Feather,' which was filmed at a church in New York, for being too raunchy. The video features Carpenter wearing a short dress as several men kill each other over her. It also shows her going to their funerals at the church. One of the coffins says: “RIP B****.” While the video is distinctly pedestrian by pop music standards, it appears to have disturbed Brennan, who said he was “appalled”. He also slammed the local parish for letting the filming take place at all, launched a full investigation and sacked the vicar, Monsignor Jamie Gigantiello. Yikes. “The parish did not follow diocesan policy regarding the filming on church property, which includes a review of the scenes and script,” Brennan’s statement read. Carpenter, meanwhile, seemed to see the funny side. Shortly after the bishop made his announcement, she published a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, where she jokingly claimed to have built the church herself. The parish initially tried to blame the production company for failing to “accurately represent” the planned content of the video. However, Brennan’s investigation found that documents given to the parish “while failing to depict the entirety of the scenes, clearly portray inappropriate behaviour unsuitable for a church sanctuary”. After all this, Brennan also decided he needed to re-sanctify the church with holy water, just in case Carpenter’s music video had done some permanent spiritual damage. “Through the offering of this mass, Bishop Brennan has restored the sanctity of this church and repaired the harm,” the diocese said in a statement. An influencer has made the bizarre decision to get her boyfriend’s name tattooed across her forehead and people think she’ll regret it. From claiming you can become a millionaire by begging, to paying £130k to have legs extended, influencers are almost constantly doing or saying something baffling to the rest of us. None more so than influencer Ana Stanskovsky, who got her boyfriend’s name, Kevin, tattooed in large lettering on her forehead. In a video shared on her social media, she initially got the stencil applied to her forehead, before sitting in the tattooist’s chair, appearing to get it made permanent. Stanskovsky seemed to wince in pain as the tattoo artist worked, but she appears to think it was all worth it after responding to some people’s criticism. One person commented on the clip: “He’ll love it! Your next boyfriend will hate it though.” Another said: “Only Kevins from now on.” Others argued that she’ll still regret it, even if she ends up with Kevin for life. Still, the influencer responded to the backlash saying it was nobody’s business. YouTuber MrBeast is a well-known philanthropist who often uses his wealth to spread happiness and help those less fortunate than himself. While, at times, his giving spirit has sparked accusations that he’s doing it to boost revenue, it hasn’t stopped MrBeast from continuing, as one recent video saw him fund the building of 100 wells across Africa. In another recent video, MrBeast, real name James Donaldson, got into the Halloween spirit and gave one lucky trick-or-treater a house. Posting the clip on X/Twitter, MrBeast explained in the caption that he purchased the house before Halloween and was going to give the keys to a “random trick or treater” that came to the door. In the video, MrBeast opened the door to a child wearing a cow costume, who said “trick or treat” and held up a pumpkin-shaped bowl. The YouTuber replied, “I like your costume, here's the keys to this house”, before putting a set of keys in the child’s bowl of sweets. Thankfully, the child and his parents had heard of MrBeast and knew about his charitable acts that he shares on social media. The child thanked MrBeast and hugged him before the YouTuber proceeded to give the shocked family a tour of their new home. “I'm glad you guys have seen my videos or this would be very weird,” he joked. On the bed was also a selection of other expensive gifts including laptops and other electrical items. The family were completely stunned and left “shaking” by the news, while the child said, “My dream came true” as they hugged each other. Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna has issued a statement after she was the victim of a deepfake video also involving the British-Indian influencer, engineer and model Zara Patel. In a video, which has since gone viral across social media, a woman with Mandanna's face, wearing workout gear with a low-cut neckline can be seen getting into an elevator, with another person in the lift filming from a POV perspective. However, 27-year-old Mandanna, best known for her roles in Telugu and Kannada films as well as Tamil and Hindi films, is not the woman in the video at all. The body of the woman belongs to the aforementioned Patel, who has more than 400,000 followers on Instagram alone. Mandanna meanwhile has more than 39 million followers. After being made aware of the video Mandanna has issued a statement lambasting the deepfake video, calling it 'extremely scary' and called for urgent action to be taken on how deepfake technology is being used. Mandanna has also shared a side-by-side video featuring the deepfake and the original clip to show the difference between the two. Meanwhile, Patel has also said that she had reported the video on Instagram and called for similar action to be taken. On X/Twitter the influencer wrote: "I've reported this deep fake video of me and instagram hasnt taken it down. We seriously need prompt action when it comes to things like this. Do better @instagram." Deepfakes have become an increased problem since the technology emerged a few years with many users utilising the technology to make explicit clips and images of female stars such as Billie Eilish, Scarlett Johansson and Emma Watson. The likes of Greta Thunberg and MrBeast have also been victims of deepfakes with the technology being used to fool people into believing that they promoted issues and schemes which they do not condone. Former adult star Adriana Chechik is still in chronic levels of pain over a year after breaking her back in a foam pit accident. Chechik required surgery one her back after breaking it by diving into a foam pit at the Twitch annual convention, TwitchCon, in October 2022. Footage of the incident went viral at the time, as Chechik could be seen smiling while diving into the foam pit, before landing on her back and immediately being in clear pain. She yelled to the camera person, “I can't get out” and riled in agony. When asked if she was OK, she shook her head and one person could be heard shouting for a medic. A year on from the freak accident, Chechik has updated fans on how she’s doing. She admitted that she is still in a lot of pain from the accident. The Daily Star reports that she explained in an X/Twitter post: “This year, I’ve learned so much about my own strength and will to achieve my goals. I started doing 5 to 6-day-a-week workouts at 7 AM for the past two months. “I’ve been doing physical therapy seven days a week for close to a year now. I cannot explain how hard it is to motivate yourself every morning when you’re suffering with chronic pain.” In recent years, Chechik has transitioned away from being an adult performer in favour of live-streaming gaming content and posting on her OnlyFans account. Despite having surgery, Chechik has ongoing issues with back pain resulting from the accident. But, she explained, she is on the slow road to recovery. She added: “On top of the back surgery, it caused six herniated discs to my lower spine that offers constant irritation. However, I have pushed through my tears and reached my goal weight. I am well on my way to becoming the healthiest I’ve ever been and having my body be the strongest it’s ever been.” “I’m praying that every day I get stronger, it’ll be another day in my future I will have less pain. I was told from my physical therapist and doctors that if I can maintain a six-pack, I will be able to support my spine and live with less issues,” Chechik continued.
